Hi Amy,
You guys are very active members. I would like to ask for a favor. My son is 5 years old and he is autistic. I need a pediatrician for him asap. The one he had is not capable of handling autistic kids. We live in Lansdowne and looking someone in Loudoun county if possible. Could you please help me.
thanks,
Farzana

Hello,
I am a new member. I thought you might know about "Autistic grant kit". Is it for real? My five year old son Ibrahim is atistic. He is nonverbal. I am trying to send my son to a private school and it costs a lot. Please let me know if you know anything.

Hi Amy,

My name is Pam White and I live in Lansdowne also. I am the grandmother of a grandson with PDD/NOS who lives in Ashburn. I am inquiring information, for both myself and my daughter's family, is there a support group for parents/grandparents of children on the Austism spectrum in this area??? If not, I would VERY much like to start one or at the very least, offer my home as a place to meet.

My daughter and her husband are in need of finding other families in situations like their own (they have three other children in addition to their son with special needs). I will look forward to hearing from you after the holiday rush settles in. I have made a committment to help my daugther and husband and others like them find a place where there can be learning, support, and resources in dealing with our awesome kids/grandkids,.

Thanks in advance for however you can offer advise and guidance.

Have a blessed Holiday season.
