I feel I must explain myself. In some of my blogs I have been very harsh in my opinion and reports. I’ve been harsh on some professional places. Our police dispatch for example, yes I’ve been very harsh on them. But why? Am I just angry because th...

Trick or treating here in Sheboygan is actually very well planned. It’s suggested that you only go from 4-7 pm and I’ve had a couple suggest that is the law here. The press recently posted the advice of the police department that while trick or tr...

I'm Driven

I feel I must explain myself. In some of my blogs I have been very harsh in my opinion and reports. I’ve been harsh on some professional places. Our police dispatch for example, yes I’ve been very harsh on them. But why? Am I just angry because things didn’t go my way? The answer is a devoted NO. The truth is that I am driven when it comes to matters of public safety, public awareness that contributes to safety and more. It’s a drive to me and I’ll tell you why.

First, what is a drive? What do… Continue

Walking Away

A series of serious events has unfolded and given me cause to take action. I had to make a terrible decision that tore out a piece of me and the rest of the issues are doing considerable damage in impact.

I am seriously, grievously and even spiritually injured. And the nightmare is only beginning. I have no one to turn to now but God. Yes, part of that is my own fault, but I strongly feel I had no choice. I cannot explain that at this time.

What I can say is that, for now, it has to be just my… Continue

Am I Over Reacting?

This is being posted in all my blogs because I think it's very important. It's original post is at Sheboygan Press dot com as that is the community I live in and where this happened. I hope you will give some of your own input in this challenge, even if only here.

If you were given advice by an organization with solid reputation for helping others, and it turned out to be in error, would you be upset? How about if you were the one who got to be berated and verbally punished for following that a… Continue

Trick or Treat? Dog attack

Trick or treating here in Sheboygan is actually very well planned. It’s suggested that you only go from 4-7 pm and I’ve had a couple suggest that is the law here. The press recently posted the advice of the police department that while trick or treating you pay attention to where you go. If there is a problem, you should report it. Please remember that last sentence.

After going around with some friends, my son wanted to try a couple of houses on the way home so I let him. All went well until w… Continue

Remembering Heroes

This is part two of my “remembering heroes” bloggings and today I want to talk about another teacher. In the days of my 5th grade year I was asked if I would take part in something of a school expirament. The administration wondered what would happen if some fifth and sixth graders were combined in classes.

I’m not sure if they wanted to know if two grades could just be taught at the same time, or if it were possible for some students to even skip a grade. I took part all the same. We were quit… Continue
